Charlotte Elsa Grief, born 1990, lives and works in Berlin. Ever since her in training Cultural Studies and Practices at Hildesheim University, her artistic practice has focused on theatre and performance art as well as documentary filmmaking. A founding member of the theatre collective “Die Soziale Fiktion“, she has been awarded both the jury and audience award at “Körber-Studio für junge Regie“ and the “Best OFF – Festival freier Theater der Stiftung Niedersachsen“ price for the performance “Steppengesänge“. Charlotte Elsa Grief has also realised her own short movies and making-ofs. She is the co-creator of “Church of Shame: What Dykes Picture to Come“.
