Hana Kulhankova is one of the founders of Prague Pride and is currently a director of Prague Pride Festival. She was a director of One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival for many years. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno with a degree in English and American studies and studied also at Film and Television Department at Ruhr-Universitat-Bochum in Germany. She has worked for other film festivals as a programmer, for Czech television, has taught history of American avant-garde film, gender and queer theory. She is a co-editor of a textbook Setting Up a Human Rights Film Festival, vol. 2. She has been involved in queer and lesbian cultural events (Queer Film Festival Mezipatra, Proud NGO, lesbian festival Queer Eye) and now specially in issues around rainbow families as a mother of two children. She was nominated among TOP 25 Czech women of public sphere.
