Elif studied political science and international relations in Marmara University which she took gender studies and feminist theory classes. Now she is continuing her education in Sociology. She is one of the players in queer identified football team Atletik Dildoa since 2015 which participate and organize LGBTİ+ and woman sports events in Turkey and also in Europe. She has been part of feminist and LGBTİ+ political groups as lesbian feminist activist. She is among the organizers of Queer Olympix for 3 years.
