Irene Hemelaar

Irene Hemelaar is the founder and chair of the OndersteBoven Foundation, which conducted the first research into the well-being of lesbians in the Netherlands in 2009. She works as a strategic trainer and advisor in areas such as D&I at the training institute of the trade union FNV.As an independent entrepreneur in 2020 she did action research into discrimination against LBTQI+ women and non-binary people for the municipality of Amsterdam
