When lesbians* step up as leaders, in the workplace, society and in our lives, change happens. As they say in Texas: “When you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.” Our leadership is needed. Where will you step up and who will you empower to take leadership?

Martha McDevitt-Pugh is a change manager operating at the intersection of social equity, business transformation and interdisciplinary collaboration. As founder of the Love Exiles Foundation, Martha led a successful eff­ort to change US immigration law to include LGBT partners.

Martha chairs the board of Gala, the award-winning ING Bank network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees and allies and serves on ING’s Diversity and Inclusion Experts Network. Martha co-founded and is Program Manager of Women@Workplace Pride. She is an elected member of the US Democratic National Committee and chairs the Democrats Abroad global LGBT Caucus. Her commitment is to a world that works for everyone, with no one and nothing left out.
