Masha Neufeld holds a diploma degree in Psychology and works on her PhD project on the topic of unrecorded alcohol consumption in Russia at the Dresden University of Technology (Germany) and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto (Canada). Her research interests include social and behavioral epidemiology of substance use and abuse, alcohol-related harm and patterns of alcohol consumption. As an activist she is interested in international queer community building, translocal queer spaces, queer herstory, non-binary lesbian identities and new impulses on queer-theory and disability theory in/from the post-soviet spaces, especially today’s Russia.
