Anna Dovgopol is a Gender Program Coordinator at Heinrich Boell Foundation, Kyiv Office – Ukraine. Besides, she is a co-editor of Gender in Detail web project, a feminist and LGBT activist, and expert on gender issues. Anna graduated from the American University – Central Asia in Bishkek with BA in American Studies and Translation and later received MA in Gender Studies at the Central European University in Budapest. In Bishkek, she was one of the founders and a director of Labrys LBT organization. In Kyiv, she worked with Women’s Network feminist lesbian NGO, Insight LBT NGO, Amnesty International and with other projects focused on education and awareness raising. She was a member of KyivPride for several years and her work now is focused on supporting queer and feminist projects.
