Leila Lohman (Switzerland / Belgium) – MA in human rights – Columbia University, New York, is a lesbian feminist activist and co creator of EL*C. Prior to embarking on the lesbian movement journey, she held leadership positions, including past president /co founder of significant LGBTIQ groups in Geneva, Switzerland. Through her professional experiences, she was affiliated with leading human rights organisations, including Human Rights Watch, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) as well as the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Leila’s passion lies in project implementation & activistic expressions through the arts – making her the creative force behind the Lesbiennale.
