Mariam Gagoshashvili is a queer feminist activist and grantmaker from Tbilisi, Georgia. Currently based in New York, USA, she is a Senior Program Officer at Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice in charge of the fund’s work in Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. She is also working on the global LBQ Funding Report to be jointly launched by Astraea and Mama Cash later this year. Mariam is a board member of Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights, has a lot of experience with various global and local feminist funds, and is passionate about bringing LBQ movement priorities into philanthropic spaces.
