Yasemin Öz w is a human rights lawyer/defender, feminist and LGBTI+ activist for 27 years. She is co-founder and vice chair of Kaos Gay and Lesbian Association (Kaos GL) and member of several feminist organizations in Turkey. She received the Felipa de Souza Award of IGLHRC (International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission-OutRight based in New York) in 2013. She was accepted to the Sakharov Fellowship of European Parliament in 2018. She was selected to UN Women LGBTI Informal Reference Group in 2017. She has many research studies articles and publications on human rights published nationally and internationally.
